       Life should carry on, even without president, so does our meeting.

         Tonight's Toastmaster is my dear mentor Jo Chen, she showed up wearing a hat of Santa Claus, what a great atmosphere she has built. Shes super calm and smooth during the whole meeting, kudos to her.

         In our most expected table topic section, our single boys and girls were very active and competed to get a chance to talk about Bob Chens Christmas topics and candy. Bob was sexy and charming as he wear a suit, so were his topics. However, these good topics didnt change his relationship status unfortunately. Speakers talk about their opinions about Christmas, its effect on economy and their wishes of being a Santa Claus.

         Inthe end, our VPM Dido had edged everyone else to win the best table topic speaker.

         Tonights prepared speech section began with a farewell speech by Lizzie, her CC2 speech. She told us her opinions about marriage when everyone else seems to be hurry at marrying their other "half". We believe she won't be "the girls who are left”without doubt, even without the help of matchmakers of EOE.

         Thenour VPPR Xenia brought us a CC6 speech by using a story she had used before,the difference is she stand on the side of that Taiwanese girl this time. Culture could be a big problem if you don't be careful, otherwise, your ass might be kicked just like Eddie's might be.

         In the end, our VPE George has persuaded us how great the advertisement could communicate with audience with his CC9 speech. We all enjoyed those great ad videos, thank you George!

         The ultimate winner in this section goes to Xenia.

         The evaluation section is full of laughter, and it all began with Walter. He brought his talk show to the stage of EOE and wish everyone“Sorry Christmas". Dido summarized Lizzie's speech with a romantic story of cloud, and we all feel cloudy about this beautiful poem except our Jo. Our golden backup guy Ken congratulated Xenia for her successful speech and won the little bear from Jo Chen. In theend, our current (I mean former) president Shen Wei gave his suggestions to George about his speech and over used his time one again with no surprise. But this didn't stop him being voted as the best evaluator. Fortunately, his franchise won't help him on the clock next meeting…

         Winners enjoyed their awarded wine and we closed this Christmas meeting successfully.

        What is notable is that our all facilitators all did a great job of their own, our timer Angela is doing as per the rules extremely well. And our grammarian Athena picked a quite wonderful and shining word to light this night up. Suzi, our great ah-counter is making a revolution on this role by making a spreadsheet to show us how we did to manage our time. And Lucius collected all the laughters. All of them are excellent!
